8 Killed, 3 Injured in 2 Separate Road Accidents in Assam

The accidents occurred in Bajali and Dhubri districts.

At least 8 people were killed, and 3 were injured in two separate road accidents in Assam today.

In the first accident, 5 people tragically lost their lives, and 2 were injured when a speeding vehicle collided with a parked truck near the roadside in Bajali district.

The victims were returning home after attending the Raas Mahotsav in Nalabri when the accident occurred.

The deceased have been identified as Habib Khan, Mizaur Rahman, Roel Khan, Miznur Khan, and Moirul Haque.

The injured victims, Sabir Amin Khan and Kazi Ahmed, were rushed to the hospital and are currently receiving treatment.

In the second incident, 3 people were killed in a head-on collision between a car and a truck in Golakganj, Dhubri district. The victims were traveling to West Bengal when the accident took place.

The deceased have been identified as Ramchand Ray, Dhannjay Ray, and Bikash Kalita.

One other person, Khanindranath Pradhani, was injured in the crash and has been hospitalized.
