Toko Telyi from Arunachal Pradesh has become the first Arunachali to be selected for the prestigious Bhartendu Natya Academy of Arts in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, one of India’s leading theatre training institute.
Toko Telyi of Kamsa Dramatics Society has been selected for a two-year programme at the institute.
Telyi’s selection serves as an inspiration for aspiring artists from the state, encouraging them to pursue their passion for theatre and the performing arts.
Chief Minister Pema Khandu took to X and congratulated Telyi on his achievement and wrote, “Heartiest congratulations to Toko Telyi on being the first Arunachali selected for the prestigious Bhartendu Natya Academy!
