The family members of missing Arunachal Everester Tapi Mra and his assistant Niku Dao continue their sit-in protest at the tennis court in Itanagar demanding justice.
The family members are setting up a high-level inquiry committee to probe alleged irregularities in the search and rescue operations even as they demand the concerned department to bring back the missing mountaineers dead or alive. They are also demanding legal action against East Kameng DC.
And While several groups and organizations have already paid them a visit, today members of the Youth Congress met the family members of the two missing mountaineers.
The youth congress team led by their president Taroh Jani met with the family members and condemned the government for not meeting the family members.
Jani said that the disappearance of the two mountaineers must be seen as a failure on part of the government.
