Storms wreak havoc in Arunachal Pradesh
Arunachal Pradesh has been ravaged by storms causing widespread damage
Inclement weather continues to wreak havoc in Arunachal Pradesh. A massive storm has damaged several houses in Longding district of the last night.
The storm which began at around 8pm on Friday has damaged many settlements apart from granaries and a community centre in the Zedua village of Longding District. However, there are no injuries reported in the storm.
Meanwhile, the villagers have appealed for urgent measures from the Government to emerge out of the crisis.
The Indian Meteorological Department had issued a weather alert for the Northeastern states warning of heavy rains and strong winds.
