Manipur violence: Other NE states pledge support to Manipur govt and its people

The other Northeastern states have issued helpline numbers for its people pledged their full support to the Manipur Government and the people of Manipur during this hour of crisis
Amid simmering tension in Manipur, other Northeastern states – Nagaland, Meghalaya, Assam, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim have pledged their full support to the Manipur government and have extended their support to the people of Manipur in this hour of crisis.
The states have also issued helpline numbers for the people from each of the respective states residing in Manipur.
Here are the helpline numbers issued by the NE states:
Arunachal Pradesh: “Govt of Arunachal Pradesh is in touch with Govt of Manipur and our students to ensure their well being. A coordination committee under the supervision of Commissioner CMO is also constituted for safe evacuation of our students from Manipur. For further details please contact:- Dr Dilip, DRC 70860 26788 Thutan Jamba, ASP 7630 090058,” Tweeted CM Pema Khandu.
CM khandu also said that he is deeply pained over the violence in Manipur, which has displaced several families. He said that dialogue is the best way to resolve all differences and grievances in a democratic set up. CM khandu further thanked Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma for his kind interventions in ensuring the affected families are taken care of if they take shelter in the Assam.
Nagaland: The Government of Nagaland also activated helpline numbers for the people from Nagaland presently in Manipur and Imphal.

“I am deeply disturbed about the unrest in Manipur. I appeal to the people of Manipur for peace and harmony,” CM rio added.
Meghalaya: Students from Meghalaya staying in #Manipur and their parents can contact–1800-345-3644 for help in case of emergencies, Said CM Conrad Sangma.
“We are working to evacuate our students studying in Manipur .. appeal to all the maintain peace and be calm .. we are working yo ensure safety of our people,” CM Sangma tweeted.
Assam: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has directed the District Administration of Cachar to care for the families from Manipur who have sought refuge in Assam after being affected by the recent violence in the state.
Tripura: Tripura Government has also opened helpline numbers for providing support on 24×7 basis to the residents of Tripura residing in Manipur following the disturbance in Manipur.

“The Govt of Tripura is in constant touch with the Govt of Manipur to ensure the well being of all the students belonging to Tripura,” tweeted CM Dr. Manik Saha.
Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang spoke to Manipur CM. In a Facebook post, the Sikkim Chief Minister wrote, “In view of the current situation in Manipur, I personally spoke with the Hon’ble CM Shri N Biren Singh Ji. Though the situation is normal, he has kindly assured us to provide every possible assistance to the Sikkimese students and citizens.
I encourage all the Sikkimese citizens in Manipur to remain calm and carry an identification card with them at all times. I urge them to prioritise their safety & well-being and remain indoors or in a safe location. I am constantly monitoring the situation and will do everything possible to ensure their safety and request the parents, guardians and relatives to not panic.
