Home Minister Amit Shah on 2-day visit to Arunachal Pradesh from tomorrow

As per reports, Shah will arrive at Dibrugarh Airport at 12:40 p.m. tomorrow. He will then leave for Kibithu in a BSF helicopter

Amid China renaming 11 places and claiming sovereignty over the region, Union Home minister, Amit Shah be on a 2-day visit in the frontier state on April 10 and 11.

Amit Shah’s visit to Arunachal Pradesh at this point in time is a very strong and clear message to China.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be arriving in the state tomorrow (April 10) to launch the ‘Vibrant Villages Programme’ in Kibithu village along the Line of Actual Control (LAC).

As per reports, Shah will arrive at Dibrugarh Airport at 12:40 p.m. tomorrow. He will then leave for Kibithu in a BSF helicopter and will reach there at 2 pm.

The ‘Vibrant Village Programme’ is a centrally sponsored programme aimed at the comprehensive development of villages along the India-China border.

During his visit, Shah will also inaugurate nine micro-hydel projects of the state government constructed under the “Golden Jubilee Border Illumination Programme” in Kibithoo.

He will also inaugurate Indo-Tibetan Border Police projects to augment infrastructure at Likabali in Arunachal Pradesh, Chapra in Bihar, Nooranad in Kerala, and Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh, as per an MHA notification.

On April 11, the Home Minister will visit Namti Field and pay homage at the Walong War Memorial.
Later on the same day, Shah will be back in Dibrugarh, where he is scheduled to address a public rally and perform the bhoomi pujan ceremony for the new BJP office in Dibrugarh.

After that, Shah will leave for New Delhi from Dibrugarh at around 2 p.m. on Tuesday.
Assam CM Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma will be receiving the union home minister at Mohanbari Airport in Dibrugarh tomorrow.

As per sources, Chief Minister Sarma is likely to leave for Mumbai in the afternoon after welcoming the home minister.

Chief Minister Sarma will return from Mumbai in the wee hours of April 11 by special flight to attend the function of the home minister in Dibrugarh.
