Arunachal: Gumpe Rime selected for FIFA’s coach educator development project

Former Junior Indian team goalkeeper, Gumpe Rime of Arunachal Pradesh has been selected as Coach Educator by the All India Football Federation for FIFA’s Coach Educator Development Pathway Project, India-2022.
Former Junior Indian team goalkeeper, Gumpe Rime of Arunachal Pradesh has been selected as Coach Educator by the All India Football Federation for FIFA’s Coach Educator Development Pathway Project, India-2022.
Rime is the only person from the Northeast to be selected as Coach Educator for the FIFA project.
This comes after the AIFF was selected by the FIFA Technical Development Division to host the Coach Educator Development Pathway Project, India 2022, a Coach Education programme for its member associations.

The AIFF has selected a total of 25 coach educators to be a part of the project, which also includes former Junior Indian team goalkeeper Gumpe Rime.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Pema Khandu congratulated Gumpe Rime for being selected as Coach Educator (CE) by All India Football Federation for FIFA’s Coach Educator Development Pathway Project, India-2022.
Rime is a certified instructor from Asian Football Confederation.
He holds “A certificate” in coaching and has completed AFC Goalkeeping Level-1 Course.
He also completed a Goalkeeping course from German Football Federation.
Moreover, Gumpe has also played for the India youth team in the Asian Youth Championship in Bahrain.
