House gutted in fire in Manipur’s New Lambulane area

The blaze was reported around 9:10 PM. However, the cause of the fire could not be ascertained.
A house was engulfed in flames at New Lambulane area in Imphal East District on Thursday night.
As per inputs, the blaze was reported around 9:10 PM, however, the cause of the fire could not be ascertained.
Significantly, New Lambulane is an area which is under the strict vigil of large number of security forces comprising Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) and Army personnel round the clock.
However, despite heavy security presence in the area, the cause of the fire remains shrouded in mystery.
Imphal East Police led by SP Imphal East, along with Manipur Fire Service personnel rushed to the spot and subdued the fire before it could spread any further.
