Director of Secondary Education Marken Kadu stated that authorization orders have been issued today and the bill would be passed in the next 2-3 days

In some good news for teachers appointed under the Mukhya Mantri Shiksha Kosh Yojana who have not received their salaries 5 months, Marken Kadu, Director of Secondary Education, said that the pending salaries would be disbursed within a week.

Kadu said that the delay in payment of salaries was due to technical difficulties within the payment system. He assured the public and the teaching community that the department is actively addressing the issue, and steps have been taken to expedite the payment process.

Speaking to the media on Wednesday, Kadu said, “We have not been able to pay the salaries of teacher’s appointed under the Mukhya Mantri Shiksha Kosh Yojana for the past 4-5 months which is a very sad thing but government procedures take time. I would like to say that authorization orders have been issued today and the bill would be passed in the next 2-3 days. By next week we will clear the payments due to the teachers.”

The delay has led to financial hardships for some educators, with reports of resignations among those affected. Teachers who were earlier recruited were promised a monthly honorarium of Rs 25,000. The non-disbursement of these funds has prompted some to resign from their positions.
