Organisations call for 48-hour general strike to end Manipur University impasse

The Manipur University impasse continues. A 48-hour general strike has been called by members of the All Tribal Students Union Manipur, the Kuki Students Organisation and the All Naga Students Association Manipur, in the hill areas of the state.

The strike will commence at midnight today and will end on August 11. The general strike has been declared as a mark of protest against the prolonged shutdown of the Manipur University.
