In a shocking incident, a human skull was recovered during a Swacch Bharat cleaning exercise in Agartala yesterday.

The incident came to light at the BSNL office guest house in the Lichibagan locality where people were clearing the extra growth of wild bushes in the premises. During which, the skull was discovered and caused sensation among the people.

Police reached the spot upon intimation and sent the skull to laboratory for forensic test.

It is unclear as to how the skull reached that particular spot. Police asserted that there has been no case of missing person in the area.
