347 runs: India against England (December 2023)India set England a target of 479 runs on the back of their fantastic all-round performances in previous three innings, which included posting 428 runs in the first innings and bundling out England for 136 in the next. In reply to India’s 186/6 declared in the second innings, England was all out for 131 runs. Deepti Sharma (66/20 and 5/7, 4/32) was the star for India.

309 runs: Sri Lanka against Pakistan (April 1998)SL started off with 305/9 declared, with Vanessa de Silva (78) top-scoring. Pakistan was then all out for 171 in the first innings, with Chamani Seneviratna getting a five-wicket haul. SL built a lead of 409 runs by scoring 275/8 declared in their next innings, giving Pakistan 410 to chase. Pakistan was bundled out for 100 primarily due to a four-fer by Rasanjali Chandima Silva.

188 runs: New Zealand against South Africa (March 1972)NZ was bundled out for 168, followed by SA being skittled out for 111 with Jill Saulbrey (5/32) taking a fifer. New Zealand scored 220/8 declared in their second innings, giving SA 278 runs to chase. SA was bundled out for just 89, with Jackie Lord (5/24) being New Zealand’s star bowler. Trish McKelvey was the NZ skipper in the match.

186 runs: Australia vs England (Jan 1949)Australia was bundled out for 213 despite a century by Betty Wilson and they claimed a 141 run lead with Betty taking a six-wicket haul to sink England to 72 all out. Then Australia scored 173/5 declared and gave England 315 runs to make. England was skittled out for just 128, with Betty taking three wickets again.

161 runs: Australia vs England (August 2015)Jess Jonassen (99) on Test debut helped Aussies make 274/9 to start off the game. England was bundled out for 168 runs and trailed by 106 runs. Later, Australia made 156/6 declared to get a 262-run lead. Chasing 263, England was bundled out for 101, with Ellyse Perry taking a six-fer. Jonnassen’s twin fifties and a wicket earned her the ‘Player of the Match’ title.
