A Guwahati court has rejected the bail plea of suspended IAS officer Sewali Devi Sharma, the main accused in the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) scam case. At present she is lodged at the Guwahati Central Jail. Sewali was arrested in May 2023 by the Chief Minister’s Special Vigilance Cell.
