Normal life has come to a standstill in several parts of the Imphal valley in Manipur in the wake of a bandh called over the killing of 13 people in Tengnoupal on Monday. Shops, commercial establishments and schools are closed in several parts of the Imphal valley as a mark of protest. Last night, emotional scenes were witnessed outside JNIMS in Imphal as family members of the people killed in the shootout in Tengnoupal collected their bodies.
