3 labourers abducted from Cachar rescued in Dima Hasao

IGP Prashanta Kumar Bhuyan said that the labourers have been rescued from inside a dense forest

Police on Monday morning rescued the three labourers who were allegedly abducted from a stone quarry in Cachar on Saturday. Speaking to reporters in Cachar, IGP Prashanta Kumar Bhuyan said that the labourers have been rescued from inside a dense forest. He said that special combing operations were launched in and around the Daoband area, under the jurisdiction of Mahur Police Station by Cachar and Dima Hasao police teams along with Assam Rifles.
