In a significant move, the opposition Congress has cried foul over the release of the final draft NRC which left out over 40 lakh people.

Assam Pradesh Congress Committee president Ripun Bora said the party is surprised by the fact that a whopping 40 lakh people missed out from the list.

He further alleged that there are lot of irregularities in the report and also said there is a political motive of the BJP behind this.
