Continuing the crackdown into the APSC cash-for-job scam, Dibrugarh police have raided the residence of Surajit Choudhury, who was earlier arrested by police for attempting to bribe a judge for acquiring anticipatory bail for arrested APS, ACS and other allied service officers.

A team of police officials led by investigating officer Surjit Singh Panesar raided the residence of the accused at Chatribari in Guwahati.

The accused is the husband of Pallabi Sarma Choudhury who is currently lodged in the jail after being found involved in the infamous scam. Sailen Sarma Barua a lawyer was also arrested along with Choudhury while trying to bribe the judge.
