2 killed after ‘Swades’ actor Gayatri Joshi’s Lamborghini crash with a Ferrari in Italy

The deceased have been identified as --Markus and Melissa Krautli, hails from Zurich, Switzerland

Shah Rukh Khan’s co-star in ‘Swades’, Gayatri Joshi and her husband, Vikas Oberoi met with a car accident while on a holiday in Italy.

As per reports, Gayatri and Vikas were driving a Lamborghini in Sardinia, Italy, during the Sardinia Supercar Tour which features a luxury car parade from Teulada to Olbia. This is when their luxury car collided with a Ferrari and a camper van resulting in the camper van overturning.

The Ferrari caught fire, killing the two people inside on the spot. The deceased have been identified as –Markus and Melissa Krautli, from Zurich, Switzerland.

However, Gayatri and Vikas survived the car accident. The couple is doing fine now.

Gayatri Joshi is a former video jockey, model, and actress from India. She starred in the 2004 film ‘Swades’. She has been married to businessman Vikas Oberoi since 2005.

Gayatri began her professional life as a video jockey on Channel V India. She subsequently departed to pursue her modelling aspirations. She has also starred in the music videos for “Kaghaz Ki Kashti” by Jagjit Singh and “Jhanjaria” by Hans Raj Hans.
