Orang National Park, nestled on the northern bank of the majestic Brahmaputra River in the Darrang and Sonitpur districts of Assam, is all set to welcome tourists as the park opens tomorrow, October 1.

The park might face some issues as the only tourist lodge of the famed national park is not yet ready to welcome the tourists.

The tourist lodge has remained closed for the past four years and the tourism department has been doing some repair work which is not complete yet.

Visitors should note that the park will be closed to visitors every Monday.

It may be mentioned here that the national park was visited by around 4,500 tourists in 2022.
