Meghalaya aims to popularize local handmade toys while China made toys are flooding Indian market

A Toy Craft Fair was inaugurated by Santa Merry Shylla, Chairperson Meghalaya Handloom and Handicrafts Development Corporation Limited at State Central Library premises.

The toy fair aims to provide a platform to revive the traditional, eco-friendly, and indigenous toys to boost the the state’s economy by supporting the local toy industry. Several local toy makers displayed their work. The fair will conclude on October 2.
