Dacoits loot gold worth Rs 10 lakh in Guwahati

Guwahati is witnessing an alarming increase in theft cases, with a recent incident shedding light on the severity of the issue.
A daring robbery occurred at the residence of a businessman identified as Tanjit Das, involving the use of sharp weapons. According to sources, a group of 7-8 thieves targeted Tanjit Das’s home. During the robbery, they used a spray to incapacitate the occupants of the house.
