3 Idiots actor Akhil Mishra falls in kitchen, dies a day later

3 Idiots actor, Akhil Mishra succumbed to his injuries today, a day after falling in his kitchen and hurting himself critically. He was 67.
A close friend of Mishra’s said that he was standing on a stool in the kitchen trying to do something, when he fell and hurt his head. He was taken to the hospital immediately after he was found bleeding and injured.
He was coherent while going to the hospital. But he suffered internal haemorrhage and passed away today.
His wife Suzanne Bernert was in Hyderabad, shooting for a project when the accident occurred.
The last rites of the actor was held in Mumbai this evening. Friend, family members, fans, well-wishers condoled the death of Akhil Mishra and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
Actor Manoj Bajpayee condoled his death and wrote, “Rest in peace Akhil Mishra Ji! This is unbelievably shocking! May god bless your soul with peace & tranquillity!! Om Shanti.”
In the movie 3 Idiots, Akhil Mishra had several humorous parts as the librarian, Dubey.
He had also appeared in movies including Shah Rukh Khan’s Don, Calcutta Mail, Well Done, Abba, and Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi.
He had acted in a number of television programmes, including Shrimaan Shrimati, Uttaran, Pardes Mein Mila Koi Apna, and Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dori Se.
