In a shocking incident, unidentified miscreants hurled a petrol bomb at the Meghalaya Public Service Commission (MPSC) office located at Lower Lachumiere in Shillong on Tuesday.
The attack comes at a time when Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh is in Meghalaya capital presiding over the NEC meeting attended my Chief Ministers and Governors from the region.
A petrol bomb was hurled at the office of Meghalaya Public Service Commission at 8 AM today by unidentified miscreants, police said. However, no one was hurt in the incident and the explosion has caused no damage to property.
Earlier, Shillong was facing severe turmoil and unrest few weeks ago and Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma recently stated that though things were under control in the city, situation was still tensed.
