Section 144 has been imposed within 300 metres of the Itanagar Tennis Court and Police Station in view of a peaceful protest to be held today by activists Sol Dodum

The peaceful protest has been planned to press for the revocation of APUAPA Act under which activist Techi Puru has been booked recently for conducting social service between Naharlagun and Itanagar NH415. This is also the place where the Pan Arunachal Joint Steering Committee (PAJSC) had demanded the construction of a Statue of Honesty in memory of Gyamar Padang, the whistle blower of the APPSC question paper scam.
