Assam: School teacher allegedly raped in Tinsukia, accused still on the run

The accused broke the door and entered the victim’s rented house and forced himself on her, police sources said.
A 22-year-old school teacher was allegedly raped by a man in Assam’s Tinsukia district on Friday.
The incident took place on Friday night in Tinsukia town, police sources said.
The accused is said to have forced his entry into the house by breaking the door and then raped her.
Soon after the crime, the accused fled the spot.
The victim, who hails from Sadiya, was alone in the house at the time of the incident.
Police reached the spot and are investigating the case.
Meanwhile, 5 people have been rounded up for questioning by the police.
