Assam, under the leadership of Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, achieved a momentous milestone in curbing crimes against women, with a staggering 51% reduction in reported incidents.
The Chief Minister disclosed this on Friday, attributing the success to a series of proactive steps taken by the Assam police to ensure women’s safety and empowerment in the state.
