In a shocking incident, a youth was found dead under mysterious circumstances inside a rehabilitation center in Guwahati’s Kahilipara area today.
The deceased has been identified as Naba Kalita. He was admitted to the facility only three days ago.
The family members are in utter shock and have cried foul play in the incident, alleging it to be a case of murder.
The deceased was a resident of the Silpukhuri area of Guwahati.
The family members of the deceased have lodged an FIR at the Dispur Police Station.
Naba Kalita used to work in the Irrigation department in Panbazar. He was taken to the rehabilitation center while he was on duty on Monday.
The incident has raised several important questions. How did a youth die mysteriously inside a secured rehabilitation center? Did Kalita have a fight with other inhabitants?
