Supporters, Imas outside CM N Biren Singh’s residence asking him not to resign

Large number of Imas gathered in front of Nupi-Lal Memorial Complex in Imphal near Chief Minister N Biren Singh’s bungalow and raised slogans asking the CM not to resign.

Women from various Ima organisations started gathering from around 10:30 am in front of Nupi-Lal memorial complex hearing the news that CM Singh might tender his resignation. Speaking to the media Ima Leirikleima said they are strongly against the resignation and the present situation in the state cannot be fixed improved by his resignation. “This is the time for Chief Minister N Biren Singh to stand firm,” she said.
