Tripura University professor accused of sexual harassment, sent on forced leave

An assistant professor of Tripura University has been sent on forced leave until further notice after he was accused of allegedly sexually harassing a girl student of the University.
As per inputs, the University authority has received a complaint of sexual harassment against Dr Bhupesh Debbarma, Assistant Professor of the Department of Philosophy. The mother of the student filed an FIR against Debbarma at the Amtoli Police Station in Agartala alleging that he molested her daughter within the university premises three days ago.
