Tragic: 2 mowed to death in their sleep in an Assam parking lot

Two people were sleeping in the open parking lot to beat the heat when they were crushed to death in their sleep by a vehicle that drove into the parking
In a very tragic incident, two people were mowed to death in their sleep. The shocking incident took place at Assam’s Kamalpur Police Station parking lot. The two individuals decided to sleep in the open parking lot because of the unbearable heat. But little did they know that they would be crushed to death in their sleep.
According to reports, the deceased have been identified as Mantu Singh and Ram, both hailing from West Bengal.
A vehicle that was driving in to park in the parking lot, crushed the duo to death. Police investigation is on to ascertain how the accident took place. Why did the driver of the vehicle not see the two people sleeping.
Assam has been reeling under extreme heat condition with temperatures soaring to 37 degrees and above which is 3-4 degrees more than normal.
