Nagaland Governor P. B. Acharya has condemned the attack on the Assam Rifles convoy by the ULFA-Independent and the NSCN-Khaplang.
In a press release , the Governor stated that such violence has no place in the society and ppealed to the NSCN-K to shun violence and restore its ceasefire with the Centre.
Governor Acharya also said that the peace process was moving in the right direction and hoped that a settlement will be reached at the earliest.
He called on the NSCN-K to join the peace process and work for an early solution in the interest of all Nagas.
