4.4 Magnitude earthquake jolts Assam; no casualties reported

The epicenter of the quake was in Sonitpur, Assam
An earthquake of 4.4 magnitude rocked parts of Assam, including Guwahati, this Monday at 8:03 am.
No reports of loss of life or damage to property have been received yet. As per the National Center for Seismology, the epicenter of the quake was in Sonitpur, Assam and it lay at a depth of 15 km.
Tremors were felt in different parts of the state, including Guwahati.
