5 more arrested in the Dokmoka lynching case; total number of arrests goes up to 36

Five more persons have been arrested in connection with the Dokmoka mob lynching incident in Karbi Anglong. Those arrested have been identified as Raikom Timung, Mensing Kro, Roben Mech, Bikram

Five more persons have been arrested in connection with the Dokmoka mob lynching incident in Karbi Anglong. Those arrested have been identified as Raikom Timung, Mensing Kro, Roben Mech, Bikram Hanse and Protap Kro.

This takes the total number of accused persons arrested in the mob lynching case to 36, including one more accused arrested yesterday, identified as Okon Daimary.

It may be mentioned that two young men from Guwahati namely Abhijit Nath and Nilotpal Das were thrashed to death by miscreants on the June 8.
