Manipur CM admits intelligence failure during recent unrest

Chief Minister N Biren Singh has for the first time admitted that there may have been security lapses and intelligence failure during the recent violence and unrest in the state.

Speaking to media persons on the sidelines of an event in Imphal, CM N Biren appelaed to communities not to blame or fight each other and blame the government instead for the lapses. So big statement there by the Manipur chief minister indicating that there indeed may have been security lapses and intellligence failure leading to the escalation of unrest in the state. CM N Biren Singh also informed that missions will be sent to bring back people from Maniour taking shelter in other states.
