Meghalaya Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has cracked the murder case of an RTI activist Poipynhun Majaw of Meghalaya and is further investigating to make the case water tight.

State Special Superintendent of Police (SSP),CID, R Muthu on Thursday said that the police have already nabbed the prime accused involved in the murder of Majaw and are now only working on his leads to further establish more links if any.

The special SP also said that his murder was neither political nor personal but a business related matter. He, however refused to give out the details of the accused stating that the police are still working on the leads and make it water tight. On being asked if the CID have cracked the case, his reply was affirmative.
