Class 12 student of South Point School, Guwahati commits suicide

The student has been identified as Tojo, hailing from Arunachal Pradesh

In a shocking incident reported from Guwahati’s South Point School, a student studying in Class 12, arts stream reportedly committed suicide.

As per initial reports, the student committed suicide in the morning hours on the fourth floor hostel room.

The student has been identified as Tojo, hailing from Arunachal Pradesh.

The school has been shut for the day.

The Fatasil Police Station has been informed about the incident, and a formal complaint has been lodged. Police officials promptly arrived at the school premises to initiate a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the student’s suicide.
