Arunachal: Missing IRBN constable found dead on the terrace of the State Secretariate

Missing IRBN Constable was found dead on the rooftop of the building connecting Blocks 1 and 2 of the Arunachal Pradesh State Secretariat yesterday
An Indian Reserve Battalion (IRBN) personnel who had been reported missing was found dead on the terrace of the Arunachal Pradesh Civil Secretariat, Itanagar.
The deceased has been identified as Roshan Gongo, Constable of 1st IRBN.
As per inputs, Roshan Gongo has been missing along with his service rifle since yesterday.
Later, Sub-Inspector Tatu Ronya, Assistant Security Officer, Arunachal Pradesh Civil Secretariat, filed a missing person complaint with the police.
Soon after, a team of police rushed to the spot and carried out a search operation along with the family members and relatives of Roshan Gongo.
While checking and analysing CCTV footage of the building, police found him lying dead on the rooftop of the building connecting Blocks 1 and 2 of the Arunachal Pradesh State Secretariat yesterday evening.
The dead body has been shifted to a private hospital for a post-mortem examination. The post-mortem examination will be carried out today.
However, the initial enquiry of the incident suggests an accidental death case.
Furthermore, a case of unnatural death has been registered in Itanagar Police Station and an investigation into the case is underway.
