Assam filmmaker Suman Adhikary nominated for 68th Filmfare Awards for ‘Badhaai Do’

Suman Adhikary has been nominated with two other filmmakers for Best Story and Best Screenplay of ‘Badhaai Do’

In a moment of pride for Assam, a filmmaker from the state, Suman Adhikary has been co-nominated in two categories for the 68th Filmfare Awards. Adhikary has been nominated along with Akshat Ghildiyal in the Best Story category for the Rajkumar Rao-Bhumi Pednekar starrer ‘Badhaai Do’.

Suman and Akshat along with Harshavardhan Kulkarni have also been nominated for Best Screenplay of ‘Badhaai Do’.

He had also received an IIFA nomination for Best Screenplay for ‘Badhaai Do.’

Suman Adhikary hails from Barpeta and is now working as a Senior Creative Director at FCB Ulka. He had worked in various top-notch advertising agencies such as Ogilvy, Leo Burnett, DDB Mudra, and McCann, holding various creative leadership roles.

Suman Adhikary had also written the dialogues for ‘Junglee.’ He had also directed several TV commercials and produced content for Sony Television Channel.
