5 arrested in Dokmoka lynching case

Police have arrested five persons in connection with the brutal incident incident of mob lynching at Dokmoka area in Assam’s Karbi Anglong district. The arrested have been identified as Kangthang
Police have arrested five persons in connection with the brutal incident incident of mob lynching at Dokmoka area in Assam’s Karbi Anglong district. The arrested have been identified as Kangthang Basumatary, Dipjyoti Basumatary, Sarukan Swargiyary, Babu Rangpi and Anush Timung.
Earlier, in the day the police had detained one person for interrogation subsequent to which the arrests were made. Meanwhile, reports have come to fore of villagers fleeing the area fearing arrest.
