Cannabis worth Rs 1.40 crore seized in Karimganj, Assam

In a big breakthrough, 1420 kg of Ganja worth Rs 1.40 crore have been seized from a bamboo carrying truck in Assam's Karimganj district along the Assam-Tripura border.
The truck was on its way to Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, from Tripura’s capital, Agartala. The truck driver, identified as Devan Kumar (alias, Deepak Kumar), a resident of Bihar, was arrested by the police.
