At a time when the idea of alternative Government in Assam is making the talks, Assam State BJP President Ranjit Das while refusing the idea said that an alternate Government in the State is not possible.

Das said that the idea of an alternate Government is absurd. He further said that the idea is something, which is being mulled by a section of unsatisfied MLAs of the State. The State BJP President said that the BJP MLAs are satisfied with the Government and there is no unsatisfied MLA within the party.

Bodoland People’s Front Chief Hagrama Mohilary while commenting on the topic, compared his party to the joker of a set of playing cards and said that his party values high just like the joker of playing cards.

The AGP said this after a party meeting in Guwahati. The meeting also discussed several other present burning issues of the State including the proposed Citizenship (Amendment) Bill.

Several top leaders of the AGP including former Assam Chief Minister Prafulla Kumar Mahanta and the three State ministers from the party.
