Assam: Rhino knocks down father-son duo on two-wheeler, injured

In another incident of man-animal conflict, a rhino knocked down a father-son duo from a motorcycle at the Haldibari animal corridor of Kaziranga National Park.
The incident took place this morning, when both the father and the son were driving from Tezpur, Assam.
The father received minor injuries while the son has received serious injuries.
The father is identified as Yugdev Mahant, and the son has been identified as Gyanam Mahant.
The father is currently admitted to the health centre in Kohora.Whereas the son, Gyanam Mahant, has been referred to Jorhat Medical College and Hospital (JMCH).
“Gyanam has received injuries to his hand, back, and chest,” informed Gyanam’s mother.
