Salman Khan’s Nissan Patrol SUV: Salman Khan has imported a new Nissan Patrol SUV which is fully bulletproof. The new SUV has been imported by the bollywood superstar over rising safety concerns and death threats that Khan has received in the recent past. This is Khan’s second fully bulletproof car after the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado SUV which is used by the popular actor on various occasions.
Nissan Patrol SUV: Engine and Transmission
The new Nissan Patrol is a flagship SUV from the company and comes with a massive 5.6-liter V8 petrol engine which is responsible for delivering 405hp of maximum power and 560Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated with a 7-speed automatic gearbox.
Nissan only sells select models in the Indian market including the Magnite SUV which is a rival to the Maruti Suzuki Brezza and Hyundai Venue. Moreover, it is also planning to introduce new SUVs including the X-Trail. However, the Patrol SUV which is its flagship model isn’t yet available on sale in India.
Nissan Patrol SUV: Price
It is one of the most widely used cars in the UAE market. While it is unavailable in India, its pricing starts from AED 206,000 which is equivalent to Rs 45.89 lakh in the Indian market.
Salman Khan is seen only traveling in his bulletproof Toyota Land Cruiser due to rising concerns over his security. As per reports, the Bollywood superstar also received a new threat via an email. As per reports, the sender of the e-mail had written in Hindi, “Goldy Bhai (Goldy Brar) wanted to talk with Salman Khan face to face to close the matter”, adding, “Agli baar, jhatka dekhne ko milega (You’ll see something shocking)”.
