Manipur Police declares KIA/KIO cadre Thangkhongam Haokip ‘Wanted’, announces reward of Rs 50K for any info

Any person having any knowledge about whereabouts of Thangkhongam Haokip, which can lead to his arrest will get a cash reward of Rs 50,000

Manipur police yesterday, April 4 declared Thangkhongam Haokip alias Davidson alias Pareng Kom (40), a Self Style Commander-in-Chief of Kuki Independent Army/ Kuki Independent Organization (KIA/KIO) as Wanted and announced a reward of Rs 50,000 for anyone providing details about him or his whereabouts.

“Any person having any knowledge or whereabouts of the above accused person which can lead to the arrest will get a cash reward of Rs. 50,000/- (Rupees fiftythousand only). Details of the informant will be kept confidential,” said police.

According to the police, Thangkhongam Haokip, a resident of Churachandpur was involved in frequent kidnapping for ransom/extortion and bombing cases.

He is wanted in connection with two FIR cases registered at Churachandpur police station and eight additional cases in the Churachandpur district.
