An all-party meet was held in the Meghalaya Secretariat to discuss the ongoing situation and bring all the political parties on one platform so as to diffuse the situation.
Political blame-game has already started in Meghalaya with the UDP blaming the Congress for the ongoing situation. The Congress meanwhile, has slamemd the current NPP led government for improper handling of the situation.
Meanwhile, Punjab Minister Surjinder Singh who is in Shillong along with a delegation from the state to take stock of the situation said it is the responsibility of the chief minister to protect the residents of Harijan Colony who had been at the receiving end.
