Tripura BJP president took a dig at the opposition parties and said that those who announced that BJP would become a single digit have themselves become single digits

Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, Tripura BJP President Rajib Bhattacharjee said that the party is determined to gift both Lok Sabha seats of the state to PM Narendra Modi in the coming general parliamentary election to be held in 2024.

With the victory in the assembly elections, now it will be the responsibility of the Tripura BJP to gift PM Modi both Lok Sabha seats in the coming general parliamentary election of 2024, Rajib Bhattacharjee said.

He was addressing a felicitation programme of senior leaders of the saffron party including the Mandal presidents, district presidents, all office bearers and other official post holders beside the newly elected MLAs and for the hard work in establishing the second BJP government in Tripura.

Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha and his cabinet ministers were also present in the program held in the Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhavan here.

Addressing the program, the state party president also took a dig at the opposition parties and said that those who announced that the BJP would become a single digit have themselves become single digits and have no right to continue because they never had any intention of developing the state rather than self-interest and self-development.

Bhattacharjee urged the party workers to start finding the weaknesses, strengthen the party organization at all levels, and work together to ensure that both MP seats are won by the BJP in 2024 in order to further strengthen PM Modi.

Bhattacharjee thanked PM Modi, union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP National President JP Nadda, and other central leaders and those from the region for their efforts in reestablishing the BJP government in the state.

He said that with everyone’s hard work and sacrifice, aside from the developmental activities that the people of the state have witnessed under the BJP, people here have shown their support for the saffron party.

He also cautioned the party workers to be vigilant against the corrupt leaders and supporters who are using the name of the party for their personal benefit.
