BSF reviews operational preparedness along Indo-Bangla border

Border Security Force (BSF) Director General (DG) Dr. Sujoy Lal Thaosen on Thursday reviewed the security and operational preparedness of the force deployed in Mizoram and Cachar Frontier on Indo-Bangladesh Border as well as CI (Ops) role in Manipur and Nagaland.

Border Security Force (BSF) Director General (DG) Dr. Sujoy Lal Thaosen along with Sonali Mishra ADG (EC) Kolkata were received by Umesh Kumar Nayal, Inspector General, BSF Mizoram and Cachar Frontier.

According to BSF officials, Dr. Sujoy Lal Thaosen interacted with Officers of BSF Masimpur Campus.

Border Security Force (BSF) Director General (DG) Dr. Sujoy Lal Thaosen also paid homage to the Martyrs, who laid down their lives in the line of duty at Amar Prahari Shaheed Smarak, BSF Campus Masimpur and distributed sweets amonh the BSF jawans.

After his arrival here on Thursday, Thaosen was briefed by Umesh Kumar Nayal, Inspector General, BSF Mizoram and Cachar Frontier about the Operational and other roles of the BSF.

Further, Border Security Force (BSF) Director General (DG) Dr. Sujoy Lal Thaosen and ADG (EC) Sonali Mishra , Kolkata took a round of BSF Campus Masimpur.
