At least 5 government employees including one retired official have been arrested in Manipur for fabrication of government land records and defiance of government order concerning the land transfer. Speaking to media in this connection, Imphal East DC Khumanthem Diana said that the district administration lodged two separate complaints, one at Heingang Police Station and another at Porompat Police Station regarding the fabrication of government land records to transfer ownership of state government land to an individual, thereby defying the rules for the transfer of land. #manipur #governmentemployees #arrested #landtransfer #northeastlive
