Dramatic scenes were witnessed on the first day of the Assam Assembly Budget Session today over the controversial remarks of Maharashtra MLA Bachchu Kadu who said stray dogs must be sent to Assam for consumption. Demanding stringent action against Kadu, opposition today staged a walkout in the assembly, forcing Governor Kataria to stop his speech halfway.
