Selsella is one of the 60 Legislative Assembly constituencies of Meghalaya state in India. It is part of West Garo Hills district and is reserved for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Tribes. It falls under Tura Lok Sabha constituency and its current MLA is Ferlin C. A. Sangma of National People’s Party.
In 2018 assembly elections the constituency had 30,394 electors.
In 2018, Clement Marak of the Indian National Congress won the seat by defeating Ferlin C.A. Sangma of the National People’s Party with a margin of 3597 votes. Clement Marak passed away in 8th October 2018.
Former NPP candidate Ferlin CA Sangma is the sitting MLA of the Selsella Constituency. Clement Marak also won the 2013 assembly elections from Selsella constituency. In 2022, she joined the BJP.
